News on April 28 According to Hubei Daily News, Huaxing Optoelectronics plans to continue to invest in the construction of the t5 project on the basis of the current Optics Valley t3 and t4 projects. This will be Huaxing's second flexible OLED production line in Wuhan.


Li Dongsheng, founder and chairman of TCL Group, said, 'For the next flexible OLED production line, it has entered the planning stage and has not yet determined the specific start time.' Li Dongsheng pointed out that the upcoming t5 project will be on the agenda, and the future capacity will exceed the current t4 project Scale, investment may reach tens of billions of yuan.

Prior to this, TCL Huaxing Optoelectronics' high-generation module Huizhou Phase II main plant was capped on April 10. IT House learned that the total investment of TCL Huaxing High-Generation Module Project is 9.6 billion yuan, covering an area of 519,000 square meters, which will be constructed in two phases. At present, the first phase of the project has been in stable production and operation for nearly two years, and the production capacity has reached full capacity, with an annual output of 40 million LCD panels of various sizes. The second phase of the project is scheduled to be completed in 2021 and reach full capacity, with an annual output of 60 million panels.


The TCL Huaxing high-generation module project and the TCL multimedia intelligent display terminal project together form the TCL module complete machine integrated intelligent manufacturing industrial park project. Its total investment reached 12.9 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 60 million display panels and 35 million smart TVs, with an estimated annual output value of nearly 90 billion yuan.
